I replace my Aspire V5-552PG- x809 battery but continue getting the same max 2.5hours max.readout.

shouldn't I be getting at least 5-8 hours battery time.  New battery, I did the battery reset Pin thing and continue the same 2.5hours left; so there must be some way to get that read out to increase, no?

    Not necessarily. Depends on how many unnecessay background processes are running and how many apps you have open at the same time. Try this first. Open Control Panel. Search power plan. On the left panel choose a power plan. If set to high performance. try balanced. If set to balanced, try power saver. Jack E/NJ

    i've done all that but no results. there has to be a way get the true amount of time left when one installs a new battery and furthermore it seems that I'm getting less time now less than the 2 1/2 hours on the battery.
