Possible to adjust keyboard (not touch pad!) sensitivity?

Recently bought Acer Aspire R15 laptop. So far, so good. Except the keyboard is REALLY sensitive. I'm finding myself typing double letters a lot. For example, just typing this, it sent 4 t's to the screen as I tried to type "letters". i.e. It showed "lettters" instead of "letters".
I'm a fast typist so I don't always catch it until I look up and notice a bunch of words flagged as misspelled.
Is there a way I can adjust the sensitivity so it doesn't do that? I've never had this problem with any other laptop.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I realise that I am somewhat late on this, but I found with the KBRFCR the following steps work.
Open Control Panel
Go to Hardware and Sound, then,
Devices and Printers
Right click on Acer 2.4g device
Click Keyboard settings
Then adjust Speed Repeat delay and Repeat rate settings.
Click APPLY then OK1
