New A515-51G-56T5 Question

Hi so i have been doing a little bit more research on the laptop and one thing i have been wondering is the memory only single channel or is there one other soldered onto the board because i was thinking of having about 16gb of memory in the system with a 2TB hybrid drive and really most video's i have seen on the memory matter is usually in Hindu (which i do not understand) but i do see in the video only 1 slot so i just don't know if there is a second slot on the other side and if it is like 4gb soldered memory on it can i add in a 8gb memory to make it run as 12gb instead.

I am still a noob when it comes to laptops but not when it comes to desktops and also i just found out from talking with Nvidia that the MX150 is able to do the Geforce Now cloud gaming which i am happy about that so thanks in advance if you could help clarify this for me.

I see that there are 2 slots and here are the memory specifications.

System Memory DDR4 1866/2133 SODIMM memory interface design: • Supported memory size per socket is up to 20GB • Supported on-board memory is 4G

Thanks this was helpful and i think i will go for a 12gb config then since 16gb is more possible and the only reason why i want to get better memory is for certain games i want to play on it and i might stream on it as well (which i know i have to lower the quality but hopefully not by much).

Hi so i was looking at the system again and noticed the USB type C port and i was curious is that only for file transfer or can i also use a portable power bank and charge the laptop while i am on the road?
