My new Acer GN246HL came which is my 2nd monitor and was supposed to basically be identical to my first GN246HL.

Well, out of the box my main issue would be the drastic difference in colors and detail.

My 1st monitor is connected through DVI dual link, and my 2nd is connected through HDMI. Off the bat making the 2nd monitor run at 60hz not 144hz, my adapter is on its way though so I can also bump it up to 144hz.

I'm running a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 which is why my 2nd monitor has to run HDMI for now, as the card only has 1 DVI port.

The monitors are currently running at different KHz due to the cable difference; https://imgur.com/a/CcsQgtu not sure if this would impact color

The monitors are both set to default + Nvidia completely reset to default; https://imgur.com/a/cZUMmRJ

The issue in differentiating shades of color; https://imgur.com/a/cO5F04S in order 1st -> 2nd Monitor, 1st monitor clearly can pick up shades etc.

I've tried all different sorts of calibration, nvidia settings, monitor settings etc and nothing seems to work. Wondering if this drastic difference comes purely from my 2nd monitor running on HDMI and 60hz compared to my 1st monitor running on DVI dual link and 144hz?

Any help is highly appreciated!
