Is necessary to upgrade BIOS after upgrade IRST drivers? Aspire E14 E5-476G-58KE

Recently i saw driver update for IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver Hot Fix 16.7.8.1024 in acer driver download page https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/support-product/7374?b=1, and beside that another intel component like management engine drivers it's getting update too. And i see latest BIOS version for this laptop is v1.36 which have change on Update Intel ME Firmware to 11.8.55.3510, and my laptop itself still use old BIOS v1.05 that for support MX130 (currently nvidia version that i've).

My question is do i need to upgrade BIOS to following intel firmware change or not? Since i'm still use old BIOS.

If your notebook is working perfectly, I would not upgrade! However there have been some updates that I consider important, such as an improvement in system performance in version 1.21, a configuration of ssd in the version in version 1.33 and an update of firmware intel me in version 1.36!

I consider all these updates important! The latest version of bios already contains all the above fixes! However an unsuccessful update will leave your notebook unusable!
