I bought a Acer SPIN S515-51GN a few months ago and lately i had been thinking of upgrading to an M2 SSD. I thought of buying the Samsung 960 evo. I achecked the motherboard and found an M2 slot but doesnt know if its x4 lane (as I saw in some forum that it has to be to bring out the real speed of an nvme m2 ssd). Is the free m2 slot x4 lane?
I also read in some forums that installing a M2 nvme ssd may reduce my GPU performance. Is it true?

You can see the below info about the SSD
Storage Subsystem 0 Solid state drive
     256 / 512 GB, SATA 6 Gb/s, PCIe Gen3 8 Gb/s up to 4 lanes, NVMe
    Solid state drive
    1 TB / 2 TB 2.5-inch 5400 RPM
It will not reduce the spedd of the GPU
