What was the original factory installed operating system if any? What operating systems have you tried? Jack E/NJ

Have you tried to reset it to a factory fresh Win8.x state by using the ALT+F10 cold boot method shown in the video below? Jack E/NJ

    (1) What BIOS firmware version number did you use? (2) What was on it initially? Jack E/NJ

    (1) Was it v1.07 initially, not 1.7?

    (2) What was the original factory Windows version?

    Hey OP :)
did you get a solution to this? I have the same issue, same specs.
Anyone have any ideas? I do not want to reset to factory settings, just get the keyboard working again!
    Any helpful suggestions gratefully received¬!
    :)

barlasrTry uninstalling the KB driver in Device Manager. Exit without reinstalling. Then reboot and let Windows redetect KB and reinstall the driver, Jack E/NJ

Thanks Jack, good idea. I tried it though and it just re installs teh faulty keyboard which shows in device manager as running on an 'RF Controller' !! There is no RF controller as far as I know. Looking at the drivers closely, it seems as though there is one from AVG antivrus that might be causing this. I dont want to uninstall AVG to get my keyboard back! Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

You can't always get what you want. So uninstall it anyway. Windows Defender, Security updates and Malicious software tool are all that is needed or work properly nowadays. The rapidfire Win10updates are making 3rd party antimalware like AVG, McAfee, Norton, Malwarebytes etc more trouble than they're worth. Jack E/NJ
