Disabling Windows Key

NiveusNiveus Posts: 1Member Newbie
Hi. Does anyone know how to disable the Windows Key? Microsoft used to have a website with this information, but it's out of date and no longer usable.
If anyone could help me, I would much appreciate it. I am sure gamers and anyone running certain programs must have angst when accidentally hitting it like I do.

Disabling the windows key ???? well never heard about it but hey if someone here has some light on it please share :p i personally wouldn't (even if i could) and i need it and i'm a gamer dunno why anyone would want to disable it but ok i tend more to touch the arrow left-right when i'm writing (which pisses me off moving the cursor) because the keys are so close to each other when i need the shift key much more than the windows key

Predator Sense has the option to disable windows key.
If using external keyboard, that specific keyboard software might help.

@xapim >>>dunno why anyone would want to disable it>>>

Well, I know why now!! I figured it out. It may not make any common sense. But @sri369  claims it apparently makes Predator Sense.   :) Jack E/NJ

@JackE Windows key location is right beside Ctrl used in many games, and this tends to bring up desktop if the game does not block it. That's why. Some games block it, and some don't, and this screws up big time esp in matches.
In the Predator keyboard I got the windows key is moved to the right of space bar and literally no chance of being pressed accidentally. Took some time to get used to it, but its worth the learning.

Hmmmm? The WIN key seems to be right beside the Fn key on all mine. Prolly cuz I'm ham-handed.  Any advantages to being a leftie or a switch-hitter?  How about using KB re-mapping freeware? Jack E/NJ
