Hi Everybody.

I bought a pair of fans specifically to use as a rear fan inside the pc case and another to replace the stock cooler. Placing one fan at the back of my pc worked a treat only the other fan is too small to reach the mounting screws so to replace the stock cooler. Question is; What size is my stock cooler size so I know the correct measurements to replace it?

Here is my computers serial number.
Predator G3 710 - DTB14EK0185420031F3000.

Cheers.

Both the case fan and the CPU cooler are 92x92mm fans IIRC. The case fan move a bit less air, so is thinner than the CPU fan (25mm vs 50mm?). Both are PWM fans with the four pin wiring.

Well, these are the fans I bought https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Arctic-Cooling-F9-PWM-Rev-2-92mm-Case-Fans-1800-RPM-AFACO-090P2-GBA0-Artic/121392926794?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 One of them is already installed at the back of the pc. The other fans corner screwholes wouldn't fit or reach the mounting heads ontop of the heatsink so need the correct measurements for replacing the fan as I think it must be more than 92mm?

I have only just recently replaced my old video card as it had sadly died on me. It was a nvdiea gtx 970 and when it started overheating [before I replaced it] I learned of msi afterburner and was  monitoring the fans. I never oc the cpu as I was very sketchy about it and I know that in itself can be a contributing factor when cpu issues arise. So I just used afterburner for monitoring the fans mainly the gtx 970. Although, my gut does tell me using afterburner may have decreased the cpu's performance to even though I know I never dabbled the oc settings. Is that possible?

What size cpu fans would you recommend I use as I am a little unsure?

    Cheers.

Another note is that I have twice already added thermal paste to the heatsink and I have ordered this other thermal paste to https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Noctua-NT-H1-Pro-Grade-Premium-Thermal-Paste-Compound-Grease-1-4ml-Tube/311911690769?hash=item489f62b211:g:gRUAAOSw0TxZX224:rk:1:pf:0

Yours then doesn't match what I have recorded here. Can you measure between the holes on the heat sink? This is the best image I have for it, note the mounting holes on the fan are rotated just a bit from the mounting holes on the heat sink.
