Is the HDMI port on the Nitro 5 AN515-52 connected to the motherboard or gpu?

This may seem like a dumb question but I'm planning to buy this laptop and I will be using a 1920x1080 75Hz external display for gaming.

Usually it's connected to both and does magic to switch between them. You can see this behaviour if you enable the Nvidia tray icon which tells you what is using your GPU, plug in and it stays unlit, run something graphical on it It lights up

The Nvidia control pannel also tells you what's controling the screen / output I think

The exception to this is if it's thunderbolt displayport. I think (could be wrong) that these are only wired to the GPU

I still find switchable graphics amazing, they used to be such a pain and now work flawlessly!

(As a side thing, it's usually better to open a new thread than necro-ing older ones :) just helps keep the forum tidy!)

    Thank you,
In the Nvidia control panel, only the connection between the GTX 1050 and Extend Monitor (HDMI) is displayed. I tried disabling the Nvidia driver in the Window Manager, then the HDMI port didn't work.
I try to find the setting in my bios, but it has no option.

For new topic, I'm a newbie, next time I will create a new post.
