Microsoft and manufacturers have added the OS product key on to mother board and the OS would automatically recognize the product key for activation. If your device for some reason asking for product key then try the below steps

Press and hold Windows + R > type Slui.exe 4 and check for phone activation. it would give you a code and toll free number. So, dial the number and punch the codes

If the above solution does not help then try factory reset Note: This would erase data

Note: If you have changed the OEM operating system there are chances that the product key on the motherboard would not get recognized.
