i bought my helios 300 from flipkart , but the product was already registered on the acer site as i tried to register the product .The seal on the main big black box was tampered and that means this laptop was already bought by someone else before me , he/she somehow returned this particular product and now when i bought a new  laptop i got the same one that was returned by someone else !
I Should ask for a replacement right ??

Laptop should NOT be registered by any means. When I got mine, and registered it, it showed warranty already used up by 4 months. When I contacted Acer they said it was 'cos warranty started when they supplied this unit to the store, and reset the start date to my purchase date.

In your case, it certainly looks like you have been sent a used piece.

So u payed new and got a used one and even worse already registered :( i would had returned it straight away since the day you got it (unless u feel ok with keeping it as it is and ask them for a partial refund) personally i wouldn't if it was returned it was probably with issues and none of the seals should be tampered with if its brand new that's why they are there :)

@rizwansaifi I have read about Acer laptops being pre-registered. Before having to deal with Flipkart, you should contact Acer India about your issue and let them tell the further steps. I would not recommend dealing with Flipkart right away because I have pretty bad experiences with my Nitro 5 bought from FK. Not trying to defame them, just sharing this so that you don't have to face the same hassle as mine.

Don't forget to accept my answer if I was able to help you out!

Dont worry we just need to check if the unit is new. This time call acer directly when you get the unit and check if its registered. check the link below for acer contact.
