First and foremost, I know there are topics discussion similar to this one but cannot provide me best answers so I created this topic as new. I also watched on YouTube about setting up this laptop but still no help.

Secondly, I have gaming laptop as indicated on subject above however upon live-streaming, I notice it keeps dropping frames once/twice every minutes and interrupts my stream that really irritates me so I have to keep refreshing stream site ie. Twitch, Mixer, Facebook Live, etc... Here are my recent status before starting live-stream:
- For stream platform ie. OBS, XSplit, my setup are x264, bitrate 2000 kbps, CBR
- My internet runs at 120 Mbps download/10 upload/7 ping in average
- Hardware specs (see G9-593 model specs for more info)

NOTE: I only use one stream site and one stream platform on same laptop with dual screens during live stream.

Did I miss or lack something that causes dropping frames on live-stream? Any suggestions? Please I need assistance.

Streaming is finicky and depends a lot on your internet speeds/tasks running/and priority of your stream.

For example Killer Network wifi cards have a built in system to prioritize your game over the stream which leaves your game seamless.

Also common mistales such as streaming at 60 fps instead of 30 fps van have a huge effect on your stream as well as choosing 1080p instead of 720p etc etc.

Most of the time you will find streamers use capture cards on a seperate PC to stream off of to alleviate the gaming systems resources for the task(s) required to game smoothly.

Try lessening fps and resolution of the stream first and see if that helps.

Yes, even using a capture card most streamers use a seperate PC.

What stream settings are you using?

On your question, you mean my settings for both XSplit & OBS? Or you mean what stream platform I'm using?

Also my Killer Network Manager is currently offline. How to make it online so I can adjust settings?

Please don't post multiple threads on the same issue. Meanwhile make sure the battery is near 100% charged, charger plugged in, and Control Panel power plan set to high/max performance BEFORE you start streaming. And NO non-Microsoft antimalware running or installed. Jack E/NJ
