Hey guys can i connect my laptop to a 144hz monitor through a HDMI 2.0 cable as the laptop has HDMI 2.0 !!

    Yes, 144Hz will work on this device via HDMI, but make sure that the monitor is able to transfer 144Hz via the HDMI port as well. Both sides(the HDMI port of the monitor and laptop) should support it.

    Gsync is not supported through HDMI.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    Yes like @ven98 said it will work over HDMI but be wary as some displays with a high hz output do NOT have high hz output via HDMI especially if that monitor has a display port (manufacturer caps hz on the hdmi).

    I made a list of panels that work at high hz over HDMI that may help you in deciding.
