I recently bought a Predator laptop about a month ago. I'd say about 2 weeks afterwards the sound stopped working due to no audio output device found. I rolled the laptop back to the last update and it started working again. No this time it has stopped working again. Rolled it back and still not working. Troubleshoot can not fix the problem. Issue found: there might be a problem with your audio device.
Potential issues that were checked: one or more audio service isn't running. Your PC must be restarted. Hardware changes might not have been detected

remove the audio drivers and install the drivers for you model in the acer support and/or try to get the latest from the manufacturer most of the times the issue is that windows installs it's own drivers when it updates itself and they have bugs or won't work at all

To rule in or rule out a hardware issue, try re-setting your machine to a factory-fresh state using the ALT+F10 method as shown in the video below after backing up any personal files you may have installed since acquiring the machine. If it doesn't resolve the problem, arrange for ACER warranty service or return to the vendor for an exchange or refund if still within their RMA time policy. Jack E/NJ
