Dear Acer community,
As the title says, my new SDXC card (Transcend SDXC 300S 128GB Class 10 UHS I U3 V30 A1,
https://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-841) Won't be detected by my Acer Aspire ES 11.
This is what I've tried so far:
- Updating all my drivers
- Checking for any warning signs in Device Manager. There weren't any.
- Seeing if the SD port might be disabled in BIOS (which it wasn't)
- Checking for possible pieces of plastic on the SD card which i might have forgotten to take off.
- Seeing if other SD cards worked (I tried a micro SDHC in a adapter which worked fine. I don't have anything else around that I could try)
- Plugging it into another computer, on which it worked fine. It told me to format the SD card before I could use it, which I did. After this it still didn't work on my Acer Aspire ES 11.
I have tried to look up online if the Acer Aspire ES 11 ES1-132-C0R8 might be incompatible with SDXC cards but I wasn't able to find anything.
One thing that might be noteworthy, is that at one point it seemed to be detected by my pc but soon after it looked as if had been removed. Once I actually removed it and reinserted it, nothing seemed to happen.
My OS is Windows 10 Home if that might be of any importance.
I hope I have provided enough information. Thank you in advance for your help,
