I bought a brand new Acer Swift 3 SF315-52G model laptop and after 2 days of use, the laptop wouldn't startup and neither charge.
After lots of searching came to know about the BIOS issue and pined the reset battery hole and system started up.
Just wanted to know BIOS update from Official site will cause any issues? And will updating BIOS cause any issue with onsite international warranty provided by Acer?

    Hi Jeetheshk,
The trouble shooting that you are talking about is called a battery reset. In this you press and hold down the battery pinhole on the back of laptop for 30 seconds. This helps in draining any static energy stuck in the computer which is not letting it to power on. This has nothing to do with BIOS.

Now coming to your question about performing BIOS update, please do this only when all other troubleshooting steps are exhausted .The best option to make sure that warranty is not effected is to contact acer support center before performing any BIOS updates. To contact acer.
