So I've been reading a LOT about the software driver issues and some people having tough time updating to latest windows... Many have finally settled with their 1803/1809 updates with stable software.. so I'm a bit worried as to How hard it is to finally get a new update from Acer ..

Anyone willing to make me a how to for updating the windows and installing drivers...

I'm all for hard reseting every partition and start from scratch but I wanna make sure I'm doing it the right way that's all...

I recommend against trying to clean install a MS-generic Win10 version as opposed to updating the factory-installed ACER-flavored Win10. You will likely run into a driver & ACER app headache with the generic version since many system files are not the same as in the ACER version. I recommend staying with the ACER-flavored version with system protection enabled so that if a Win10 update creates havoc, you can always use a restore point to get back to a stable Win10 version until a future ACER or Window update fixes the havoc.  Jack E/NJ

ACER device driver updates can be downloaded here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7487?b=1  Don't mess with BIOS updates unless your machine is experiencing a problem that the update directly addresses.

Win10 updates are usually automatic but can be somewhat manually controlled by pressing the WINkey+ Rkey. Enter "services.msc" without the quotes. Scroll down the list to Windows Update. Right click properties. Choose manual.

I know how to update or fresh install on a PC but on this laptop people reported there was some issues when updating with update assistant which downloads iso and mannually force installs a new update

But I figure clean iso install... Will suffice.. the data from 1709 and 1803 may have been clashing so they got those issues..
Anyways . I'll soon get my hands on my laptop and I'll test out everything and make a full review on it.. list out what bugs arise when doing something specific

Oh and .. this model seems to think 1709 is the latest that's why they used update assistant given by Microsoft
I figure clean install always works
