My HELIOS 300 has buzzing problem from RAM area or RAMS! It has arrived just 4 days ago! Please help me to solve it, it is very annoying, especially when fans are off. I paid 1400$ in all to get it in Europe, country of Georgia and I'm disappointed that it has such issues.

My laptop's RAMs buzzing is very similar (not so loud and intensive but) to this one on the video. And noise increases when I scroll pages or navigate for example in OpenStreetMap. Please help.

Windows 10 has become quite well-known for all the problems and issues that it has brought to computers upon them upgrading to the latest and greatest version of the Windows Operating System. Many Windows 10 users have reported that their computers started making weird, loud buzzing noises right after they upgraded to Windows 10.
    >Update your audio driver
Right-click on the Start Menu button to open the WinX Menu. In the WinX Menu, click on Device Manager to open it. In the Device Manager, double-click on the Sound, video and game controllers section to expand it. Double-click on your audio device (Realtek High Definition Audio, for example).  Navigate to the Driver. Click on Update Driver…
Click on Search automatically for updated driver software. Allow your computer to search the internet for the latest version of your audio driver and, if one is available, install it.

    >Uninstall your audio device
Open device manager, right-click on your audio device. Click on Uninstall. Confirm the action. This will completely uninstall your computer’s audio device.  Restart your computer. As soon as your computer reboots, it should detect and then reinstall your audio device, and this should consequently get rid of the loud and agitating buzzing noises that your computer has been making.

    >Switch to the generic Windows audio driver
Open device manager, Right-click on your audio device and click on Update Driver Software.
Click on Browse my computer for driver software. Click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer. Select High Definition Audio  Device and click on Next. Follow the onscreen instructions to replace their computer’s default audio driver with the general Windows High Definition Audio Device.

    >Disable any and all  audio enhancements
Open the Start Menu. Type Sound into the Search. Click on the search result titled Sound that appears under Control Panel. In the Playback tab,  right-click on the playback device that you are using (your computer’s speakers, for example) and click on Properties.
Navigate to the Enhancements. Check the Disable all enhancements check box by clicking on it. This will effectively disable any and all audio  enhancements that have been applied to your computer’s speakers. Click on Apply. Click on OK. Restart and check if there is buzzing noises.

If you still hear the  buzzing noises, you may try to completely reset the device to factory settings.

Meh, I followed what you wrote step-by-step. Nope, the noise stays as it was before. I even tried to reset the device but unfortunately to me I've removed old version of Windows so after reset the laptop used the most recent Windows 10 (again).

For me it is enough to hear that this is not a laptop defect, so if it is temporary I can wait, no problem.
Although, I'm 100% sure that this noise comes from RAMs, if I replace them and buy new ones does it fix it? What do you think? Maybe there is a problem in RAMs?
I just want to fix it.

I opened RAM slot, my ears were almost touching RAMs and that electrical buzzing was coming from those black things on RAMs. But I'll try anyway what you say, I hope it will help.

Ok if it comes from the memory chips just swap it for some kingston ones (dual) :) but before try to see if both dimms make the same noise or if its just one, leave one out and check the noise again also swap slots to check the noise in each slot, and i you are going to replace it i suggest get 2 dimms from the same brand or even better get a dual channel set :)

Ps: also this thread should had been posted in the predator laptos section not desktops can someone please move it :) cheers

Yes, both of them make the same noise, I tried every configuration to test the slots and dimms.
Regarding new dimms check this one: https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR26S19D8_16.pdf I guess it corresponds to your suggestions.

you can go for kingston hyperx if you feel like you would like to buy much better ram if not just go for the normal ram :) mine has 2x16gb hyperx (not cheap and you will never use it all) but in the long run its well worth it its all up to you and you budget im paying ram/ssd/laptop all in monthly payments :relaxed: no way i could afford to pay almost £2600 for the laptop and upgrades :p

PS: if you have a chance before buying anything try those dimms in another laptop just to see if they make the same noise because it might also be your memory slots if its the case (a board issue) you will need to send it to warranty for a replacement just make sure you test them in another laptop if you can and also try to get you hands on some other dimms to test in your board to also check for the same noise before you spend any money
