    Hi youanimehunter,
No if you are able to open the panel without causing any damage, then upgrading RAM will not void warranty. However if you were to sent it for warranty repair make sure you put in the original parts that came with computer.

    Hi,
If you don't have a warning sticker on top of the RAM door screw, you will be fine, try not to break anything while you upgrade the RAM.

To be on the safe side, email your Acer Center before upgrading.  If they are sticklers & you leave telltale signs; they may not be very magnanimous, if you need warranty work in the future.  If they say it's fine to upgrade (but don't break anything), retain a copy of the authorizing email in case it is necessary later on.
