Severe battery degradation

I bought acer swift 3 in Canada about 5 months ago and already battery capacity reduced by 23.5%!

I just checked and acer doesn't cover battery degradation in warranty, but isn't this a defect? I used to have Microsoft surface before and didn't hit above 20% even after 2 years, and this laptop over 23% in 5 months. 

I also have credit card warranty. But I doubt how to convince them as everyone says this is wear and tear, but MS and apple or even Samsung warranty their products if there is severe degradation.

   If the battery life is very small for your computer or the computer does'nt hold charge, please contact acer support center as it is covered under warranty.
