Laptop Speakers Do Not Work If Headphones Were Plugged In Before Shutdown

As the title explains, I have an Aspire E5-575 and if I have headphones or earphones plugged in when i shutdown the laptop, the speakers will not work until headphones are plugged in and out again. All my drivers are up to date and I have had this problem since the laptop was purchased 7 months ago, thanks for the help

    @Aidan369,
    Did you try to reinstall the sound drivers. Try once. 
    1. Click the Windows icon in your Taskbar, type device manager in the Start Search box, and then press Enter.
    2. Double-click on Sound, video, and game controllers.
    3. Locate and double-click the driver that is causing the error.
    4. Click the Driver tab.
    5. Click Uninstall-> restart the unit.

    Try this:
    a) In Control Panel, click Realtek hd Audio Manager and then plug the headset! Click the black icon and uncheck the "remember my selection and not show this dialogue next time" option;
    b) then go into sound settings and leave the speakers as default:

    I do not appear to have Realtek HD Audio Manager in my control panel.

    Then go to C:\ProgramFiles\Realtek\Audio\HDA and click on RAVCpl64
