Greetings fellow owners,
I see that the Killer drivers on the official site (
https://www.killernetworking.com/killersupport/driver-downloads) are updated to version 1.7.1089, while on the Acer support page only up to version
1.5.1852. Would it be bad if I used the Killer drivers in place of the Acer-provided ones?
Also, I noticed one weird thing: the Acer drivers are 151MB, which I presume correspond to the "Killer Control Center 64-bit - for Windows 7, 8.1 & older Windows 10 versions" package of the Killer site, which is 118MB. But that package is listed for "Windows 10 64-bit 1709 or earlier.", while I have 1803.
For 1803, Killer actually provides another driver package, "Killer Software Package - for Windows 10 1803+", which is quite smaller.
So it would seem that not only I could install that package, it seems that I should.
Any experiences?
Thank you all
