I have an Acer laptop. I have a replacement M.2 SSD. I have the case opened. There is only one M.2 slot. There is no space to put an additional M.2 SSD to clone it.

This model of the aspire laptop has a massive battery which is taking up the space for a ssd drive 2.5" drive.

Do I find someone to clone the SSD for me or is there an m.2 SSD cloning gadget/caddy?

Thank you

Andrew

You can probably use clonezilla or macrium reflect to create a bootable image of your existing m.2 SSD directly onto a USB stick or USB connected HDD. Then replace the old m.2 with the new m.2. Then boot from the image stick to install the image onto the new m.2. Jack E/NJ
