I got the laptop in July, and recently, I have been hearing a buzzing sound coming from the fans when they are running at a low RPM (~2000). The sound is generally quiet, but once it was loud enough to be heard from around 10 feet away, although that only happened once. I haven't opened the case yet, but I have tried using a can of compressed air to clean out dust to no effect. Is there anything I can do here?

Safest bet is sending it to Acer to repair under warranty.

You can risk warranty depending on your country and open it up yourself and check.

Sometimes dust will clump up in the tiny spaces in the fans and they need a little nudge from a brush etc.

    I have a new laptop with the same issue it's a PH317 52.
I don't know if there is something wrong with the laptop or if it is supposed to be like this.

I would presume that the multi fan design can allow vibrations to propagate between the fans causing the noise?
It's an aero blade 3d model. Could other people comment on whether this is happening on their laptop?

As it was said by @Red-Sand the safest its to send it back to get checked/repaired or u can take a chance yourself and check it but first always check if you are allowed to open without voiding warranty you can also point a flashlight to the fans when they are off and the airflow exit vent to see if you can see any dust/debris
