Predator PH315-51 (Helios 300) - Random underclocks to 0.8 GHz when playing in VR?

I've been having this issue since I've received the laptop about 1 1/2 weeks ago where at random points playing pretty much any VR game, the CPU clock speed drops to 0.8 GHz. When this happens it usually freezes the game then resumes afterwards or will rapidly drop the clock speed several times in a row. This is not a temperature related problem either as the highest my temps go is 87-90, in fact it usually drops when it's not in the higher temps. This also happens whether or not I'm undervolted. Any solution or help would be appreciated!

I also saw a thread with a similar issue in one of the Helios 500 models with the same CPU that was fixed by a Predatorsense update that allowed control of the maximum cpu power. Any word on if that's coming to the 300 models as well?

The TDP cap adjustments I dont think will be released for the Helios 300.
The 500 got the update due to the insanely low temps and therefore had the room for it.

You can undervolt your CPU. The i7-8750H can undervolt at -0.140 for CPU core & cache stable and it removes power limit throttling in gaming almost 100%.

Thank you! However after undervolting to -0.140 and turning off BD PROCHOT the same issue occurs but instead of 0.8 GHz it's now going down to ~2.2 GHz, this is when the CPU isn't even close to full usage (20%-50%). The same freeze occurs in games.

Have you determined it to be the CPU and not the GPU?

As of now I believe I have stopped the throttling entirely by undervolting to -140mv. I also stumbled upon one of your videos when looking up potential ways around this and followed some adjustments you made (below). Turning the turbo boost got rid of the throttling significantly. In throttlestop I noticed that I can't adjust my TDP settings like in that video. Is that related to the model I have or is there some setting I'm missing?
