So my laptop started ***** around at the worst time. I have had many driver issues with my laptop so I decided to factory reset and it says something went wrong. I tried absolutely everything from CMD to many options trying to restore the system without results and I only had this laptop for a month and I have a maths exam tomorrow. Can you guys convince me to not return this piece of ***** back to my retailer before 29th of September? Thanks.

    Hi,

    >> Try to perform a simple power reset and check the issue.  Shutdown the laptop. Disconnect the charger. Disconnect the external display. Please check for a battery reset PIN hole at the bottom of the device. The reset hole would have a battery symbol next to it. Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power. Reconnect the charger and power On the laptop. Try for the above TS and if its still not working then try to reinstall the win by media creation tool. Dont worry your computer will be working by tonight. check the link below.

Be certain to sync your browser & copy personal files before the Windows Reinstall.
Get through the Mathmatics exam & then return the laptop for a full refund.

You will need a product key for the Windows Reinstall.  If you have a digital key, click "Skip" when asked for the product key, during the Reinstall.  In the old days the product key would be on a label on the side of the case.  If you don't have a digital key, have a look on the case.  eBay offers product keys for about $2 to $5.  The seller would email you the key.

If the Windows Reinstall fails, someone should be able to lend you his laptop for the night.

After you have the second laptop just as you like it, be certain to create a Macrium system image as explained here.  It will save you a lot of hair tearing & teeth gnashing.
