Do you want to know whether the GPU can be upgraded in Nitro 5?

The CPU and the GPU are soldered on the motherboard , so you will not be able to change it. But still if you want to check on the compatibility you can check the below link

The 1050's heatsink thermal module part # is 60.Q2CN2.002. Google for vendors. Jack E/NJ

I have the same question, I have a Acer aspire 5 a515 51g and I was wondering if the heat sink of a acer nitro would fit in it?

this is a picture of a aspire 5
this is a pic of a nitro 5it looks like the heat sink of the nitro would fit into the aspire but I’m not sure because of the cpu/gpu mounting holes.
Does anyone know the spacing of the mounting holes?
Edit: and do you think the aspire fan control would work with the dual fan system?

Thermal module for the A515-51g is part # 60.GP5N2.001.

Thermal module for the AN515-51 is part # 60.Q2CN2.002

Close. But no without major alterations. Jack E/NJ

The only way to find out is for you to buy the heatsink and fans and find out. The case and heatsinks look the same but, it might be different and you might have to modify certain aspects.
