Can anyone tell me why Acer would switch out my hard drive for an issue with the screen?
Within 2 months of having this computer about a third of the screen was completely white so I sent it out to be repaired & I got it back today. The repair form says they only switched out the screen, nothing else but when I sent it out it had Windows 10 (factory) & I got it back with Windows 7. I need this computer for school so I really didn't want to send it out again so I took it to a repair store to have them check it out and they said that the hard drive that's in the computer isn't even the hard drive that is supposed to be in this particular computer. Then I realized that the repair place isn't even through Acer but an authorized Acer repair place so I'm not sure what I can even do about it. It was a brand new computer (almost) & I paid more money to get that particular hard drive to begin with. Anyway, does anyone know what I can do about this? I don't know how I would be able to prove that it was definitely them & not me.
