Has anyone bought Acer Aspire 7 A717-72G-700J from newegg? (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834316435) I read two reviews there that this laptop makes annoying sound when the power adapter is plugged in and the sound comes from the left rear underside near the RAM area. Is it true? Is it anything harmful for the laptop? How to remove this sound?

    The sound is probably an AC mains noise created by nearby machinery. If you are experiencing AC noise like this, try using a different AC receptacle for the power adapter preferrably on a different circuit. Jack E/NJ

    Plug the power adapter into the AC mains wall receptacle in another room or house. Jack E/NJ

    I have bought from newegg and having same issue. I don't think it's AC mains noise because I did plug the power into the grounded wall and AC receptacle but both didn't remove that noise.

    Jack E, do you have any other idea?

    Thanks in advance.

    @jinung >>>grounded wall and AC receptacle >>>

    What do you mean? Did you use another AC wall receptacle in another room on a different circuit or another house? Whether or not it's a grounded receptacle does not matter at this point. Jack E/NJ
