i take it you have a 32 bit version on dvd that you wish to install (hence the legacy request).  Well, not sure if this will work BUT when i look on MS's site for 7 and put in a valid product key from a paid for DVD, i then get taken to a screen that allows me to download either a 32 bit or a 64 bit .iso of the same Windows version, so as you can only get to download from their site after inputting a genuine product key and it gives both options, i reckon you could download a genuine 64 bit version instead and your key should work.  (64 bit works with uefi and is preferable to 32 bit software).  Here's a link:

My suggestion is not to downgrade. The issue is that Windows 7 drivers, the underlying software that interfaces between Windows 7 and the hardware may not work correctly. Worst case, the new laptop may not run at all. In other cases, you may buy a new printer, camera, scanner, etc and it won't connect to the laptop. In between these extremes are other compatibility issues.

Also, note that Windows 7 is not going to be supported by Microsoft past January 2020. This means no patches or updates and leaves your laptop vulnerable to hacks and security issues. I'm just suggesting that you may want to think through your Windows 7 strategy. It may cause you a lot more problems in the future, than learning a little bit about Windows 10 now.
