Acer switch 5 i7 battery drains too quickly

Hi 

I just upgraded from a switch 11 to a switch 5 i7 version.

The battery drains about 25% per hour. My usage is very light, mostly browsing and answering emails and some light YouTube. 

My battery settings are in power saver mode to turn off screen in 1 min and sleep in 3 mins.my display brightness is never more than 25%. I have used the power & sleep advanced setting to reduce the power consumption. I have even used the intel graphics settings to ensure the auto screen brightness settings are completely turned off.

I was under the impression this was a min 8 hour per day usage machine but doesn't look like mine will last more than 3-4 hours on a single charge at best.

Can anyone please suggest what I could do.

Hi Axe,
        Please uninstall and reinstall the battery driver from the device manager. Steps to follow.
1)Go to the desktop screen.
2) Press the Windows logo keys on the keyboard+X  one time.
3) Go to device manager from options on that page.
4) Look for battery. Click the arrow mark on the side of it. Then right click the driver and choose uninstall.( Make sure that the box to delete driver is not checked).
5) Ones uninstalled, restart the computer. That will install a fresh copy of the driver. 
6) Fully charge the laptop . Remove charger and see how long the computer lasts before turning off .
This should resolve your issue
