I recently bought a Acer Predator Helios 315-51-70KM and I noticed that when I play a game with the charger unplugged the temperature of the CPU/GPU stays within 50-60 degrees but when I plug in the charger the CPU's temperature immediately jumps up to 80 degrees and when I keep playing it'll almost get to 90 degrees. This only happens when playing a game, if I plug in the charger when browsing the internet or watching a video it doesn't change much.
Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do about it? The games' performance seems about the same whether the charger is plugged in or not so I'd rather keep it cooler.
Thanks in advance.
