Hi together,

I recently inherited an Aspire 7 A715-71G-51KX from my uncle.
Unfortunatly he set up a Bios password and no one has a clue what it was...
The key from bios-pw.org didn`t work, so I tried clnpwd but I can`t access F12 at booting, must be turned off in Bios.
The last idea I had was to bridge the jumper under the RAM that says JCMOS1, but still no result...

What did I do wrong? Did I have to unplug the battery pack, should I bridge the jumper longer (was 30s)? Is there a CMOS battery I didn`t find???

I have no doubt any more, can someone please tell me a solution?

Thanx in advance, Chris
