Unidentified Network

Ok so I have a problem with my laptop whenever I use the internet. The Wifi I am connected using my laptop's network adapter shows "Unidentified Network: No Internet Access". But when I use my TV's wireless network adapter, it can connect normally with it. How do I fix this problem because I already tried restarting the laptop, router and even uninstalling the network driver of the laptop and installing it again but it didn't help. Even network troubleshooter and the commands ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew isn't helping. I also experience this on another laptop with the same brand but when I use the network troubleshooter in that laptop, it fixes it normally and you'll be able to use the network normally. How do I fix the problem permanently because I can't do things when the laptop or the router has problems? A quick reply would be appreciated

OK! Try the following setup:

a) Select to get an ip address automatically;

b) Obtain the address of dns servers automatically

Do this in both ipv4 and ipv6 configuration!

Hi,
Could you please post the model of your laptop, WiFi and the driver version, in the meantime, you could try different Preferred band(2.4 or 5GHz) in WiFi Properties, go to Device manager, expand Network adapters, go to WiFi Properties, move to Advanced tab and try different band.

This is the pic of the driver so how will I be able to fix the problem if the driver installs only on windows 7 while running of windows 8?

Hi,
You can update the driver by going to Acer support site, enter your laptop model name(like E1-571, v3-xxxx etc), you have to post the exact model so that we can help you, the picture you posted only shows the OS.
You can also go to Advanced tab and try different "Preferred band" as I have explained in my previous post.

I did exactly what you said about downloading the driver on the website but this error happened. I already put it in compatibility settings such as Run as Administrator and Run in Compatibility Mode for Windows 7. This is the picture of the problem as I am currently running in Windows 8:

Please run the commands for Internet connection issues in the Administrator command prompt window. (Try Win + X. ->command prompt admin)

netsh winsock reset

netsh firewall reset

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

ipconfig /flushdns

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

I did all of these and it didn't help
