  • Hi,
You could try disabling fast startup, go to Power options(right click battery icon), click "what the power buttons do", click "Change settings that are currently unavailable", untick the box for Turn on fast startup.

  • I recommend purchasing an SSD for the OS.

Im guessing because in tests Ive conducted a regular HDD takes 2 minutes to boot up that model laptop. 😁

If you are on HDD and not on SSD, this is normal. Its just 2 minutes, isn't it? Also make use to hibernate feature to quicken subsequent startups. If you still want to be faster, go for a SSD. Personally, if its just the start up time, you might be better off getting a small SSD, like about 120-200 GB and load the OS to that, and use HDD for everything else.
