My Helios 300 i-5 8th gen laptop was working fine till 2 days ago. Its been in its packaging box for safety(so no physical damage) and all of a sudden today the display of my laptop is not working, while my fan is roaring at 6000rpm and backlit keyboard working fine. What should I do?

Does the laptop gets hot ?if not please try power drain
power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.Than turn and unit and check

You need to perform a reset via the pin hole on the bottom of your laptop (with laptop unplugged) then turn on and go here..

    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

..and install the latest BIOs update for your model.

The 8th gen Helios had a glitch upon release where screen would shut off that has been corrected with the BIOs update.
