Acer nitro 5 ANS15-52 high ram usage, high HDD usage, slow over all.

HI there. 

I am writing here because I can't find out  how to fix my new laptops performance problem. 
The laptop: nitro 5 ANS15-52  
With specification: 
CPU: Intel core i5 8300H @2.30ghz 
RAM: 8gb 2600mhz
GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 4GB GDDR 5
HDD: 1 TB.
OS: Windows 10. 

Now problem is that, laptop lags a lot.. I Disabled superfech, indexing/search services. Also all other non essencial ones are terminate. 
Hard Drive defragmented, Drivers updated. 
Windows update disabled, and changed so I would download from Microsoft server only, no downloading from other windows users. 

Yet, no matter what kind task I would use,, laptops lag. When check via task manager, I found that either HDD or RAM got used at max. 
I have Avast security pack, scanned with it,, also with antimalware, also no threats have been found. 

Download some mmo games, and had nonstop lag fiesta.  Even my old http://www.toshiba.co.uk/discontinued-products/satellite-l750d-14e/ Could handle mmo games with less efforts. 
And my current acer nitro 5 lags not only when run game, but lags regardless what kind app I  do use. 

Bios also updated to  latest. 

Anyone have any thoughts how to fix this dam lag *****.. Cuz it's now this new laptop only as good as punch bag.

For this model, I don't see any reason why it would run slow. The lag that you described, is it more of an input lag or performance lag? You can check input lag by simply typing onto a notepad. Is there lag between you pressing the key and letters popping up on the screen? 

What you described all indicate towards your RAM being the issue. If under heavy use it's above 80%, you simply need more RAM for your laptop usage. 

Here's what's happening: When your RAM is running low on space, your data on the RAM starts transferring to your hard disk drive which runs very slow when compared to your CPU (i5 processor). This causes occasional lag due to your processor not being able to access the files it needs, as it has to wait for the files to be fetched from the hard drive.

If you’re noticing slow performance in Windows 10, please try the following steps : 

>>>>Stop programs running on startup

Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager or hit Ctrl-Shift-Escape to launch. Head to the Startup tab and you’ll be able to view each item that runs on startup.

Go through these and decide which ones don’t need to start automatically. 

To disable, simply right-click and hit Disable. Remember, you’re not disabling the program, just the fact that it runs on startup.

Go to Control Panel>System and Security>System>Advanced system settings. Then, in the Performance section, hit Settings and you’ll have a full list of options. You can select Adjust for best performance (this will remove all visual effects) or opt to remove some individually.

Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager. Click More details to find out information about the programs that are currently running on your computer.

If you need to close something, try closing the actual application first. If it won’t close, come back to the Task Manager screen, right-click the application, and hit End task.

Click on Start and type “Performance” and click on “Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows”

Go to the Advanced tab and click on Change in the Virtual Memory section.

Now uncheck the option Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.

Select the C: drive where Windows 10 is installed and then choose Custom Size. If you have a 2nd hard drive, then disable the Page File on your C: drive and enable it on your 2nd drive and set that one to Custom Size. Then change Initial Size and Maximum Size to the Recommended Values by Windows which is in the Total Paging File Size For All Drives section. Now click Set and then hit OK to save the settings.

Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect and fix the Windows 10 slow performance.
