I bought a beautiful Acer Chromebook for Work - I could not be more pleased with the increased performance.
I also have a UHD monitor and use the right HDMI 2.0 cables to drive the monitor.  I cannot get it to recognize 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz.  The port should be able to support this, the monitor does as well as I used it with the Asus C302 for about 4 months now.  When I plug in a USB-c to DisplayPort connector the monitor runs at 60Hz but I cannot charge the laptop <sigh>.  So I am now forced to run UHD at 30Hz which is really not ideal for watching movies and youtube.  Does anyone have an ideas?

    Hi @aelaan12

Below are the supported resolution rates with different types of cables. You may try with different extension cable to see the change.

Yeah, as I indicated Display port works with USB-c but the HDMI port is for 2K display at 60hz and 4k at 30hz it seems from your answer.  I will look for an eDP that will support charging and DP as I only have one USB-c port that charges the device.  Thanks for looking into this Rudy.
