Nitro AN515-52-759T: Hardware Upgrades

Hi! Recently I bought the NITRO AN515-52-759T with the following specs:
- Intel i7-8750H @ 2.20GHz
- NVIDIA GTX 1050 4GB VRAM (not 1050ti)
- 8GB DDR4 RAM @ 2666 mhz
- 1TB HDD @ 5400RPM
- Intel Optane 16GB 

And I was wondering a few things:

1° After a few weeks of using it, I felt that the low RPM of the HDD was slowing programs; (I have a Desktop PC with a 7200RPM HDD with no Optane and it feels faster).
So I started wondering if there's a way to upgrade the HDD to a 1TB @ 7200RPM HDD.

2°The applications that I use more frequently require more RAM than the 8GB that the laptop has, so I was planning to add another 8GB, but I don't know if it is actually possible to upgrade that component or if the current ram modules are splitted into 2x4GB (this last part would make me buy 2x8GB modules ).

3° Boot times, file transfering and game loading screens are slow, so I wonder if I could put an any type of SSD into the laptop... and if I could, would I be still able to use the Optane?

Thank you for your reply! Does it has to be the 960 evo or 970 evo necessarily? or could it be other M.2 SSDs?

Yes, any M.2 SSDs should work but the Samsung SSDs seems to be more reliable than other SSDs.
Sorry, I missed them:
1. As you are going to install a M.2 SSD, you can continue to use the 5400RPM spinner drive for storage.
2. You can check this by opening the Memory door at the back or installing CPU-z programs, run it and check in the Memory tab.
