Please help me with Acer ED242QR and freesync. I need more info about the range.

Hello everyone,
recently I bought the ED242QR, 144hz version and I am very happy with it.
I am about to buy new AMD Graphics Card, so I can use the freesync technology.

In the official AMD webside, for this monitor it says that it supports freesync in range "48-75Hz via HDMI".

First, is this range 48-75hz about the low-end version of ED242QR is 75hz panel? In my 144hz panel, I need to know if I can indeed use freesync not only in range 48-75hz but something like 48-144hz?
Second, it says via HDMI. I am currently using DisplayPort for 144hz.

So, I am really confused and all I want to know is if I can use freesync with this monitor in ranges 48-144hz via DisplayPort? Becuase if not, I won't buy RX 580 but GTX 1060.

Specs show that it doesn't do 144Hz.

Thank you for the answer! Where did you managed to find the spec?
If that is the case, since I will tweak the graphics of games as much as I can to achieve 144fps with 144hz and hopefully I will be above 75fps most of the time, I won't be able to benefit from freesync?

The graphic you showed made me realize that I need to check the monitor's user manual to verify if its the same.

But in my user manual it says:

V-Frequency:
DVI: 48-144hz
DP: 48-144hz
HDMI: 48-120hz

Now I am even more confused. Is it possible that the graphic above is for the low-end version of the same monitor that is only 75hz panel. I believe the white one is 75hz, mine is the black which is 144hz.

They do sometimes have design changes during the model life that doesn't get rolled into the Service Manual (which is where I got the info). They really should rev the model number if there is differences in design like that. ;(
