So I got this laptop model g3-572 i7 7700hq and GTX 1060 and it overheats a lot. I've tried all the things I could find here, undervolting and optimising windows and GPU undervolt even but the problem still persists. When I removed all these undervolt and all and started to check my idle temps are like 60°c + at normal and it reaches like 70°c + when I boot.
Can anybody please help me suggest anything?
I'm good with throttlestop so if you can tell me some specific setup or value or anything I can do to solve this. Mostly after using undervolt I used to get 75-80c while gaming but today I got vampyr and as soon as I started it with maxed out everything I got like 93c CPU and 90c+ you.
Please help.

    Hi PredatorPreys13,

    Acer gaming systems may run hotter than other models

    How can I tell if my Acer gaming system is overheating?

    Predatorand Nitro products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.

    The following symptoms may be indicators of a system that is overheating and requires repair:

    1. System shut downs due to high temperatures.
    2. System components reaching temperatures that are too hot to touch.
    3. Extended periods of operation where the temperature is greater than 98 degrees Celsius. This does not include temporary spikes in temperature

    Hi,
    If the maximum heat  is 93c CPU and 90c+[GPU],then you do not need to be worried . If the temperature is greater than 98 degrees Celsius, only then it may be harmful for the computer.Also Request you to use the battery charge ones the computer is fully charged and do not have the charger plugged in all the time.

    @Kamalika
    I hope you realize that these laptops cannot pull 100% of needed power just off the power supply, let alone pulling from battery. Playing heavy while only on battery will severely limit game play experience.
    Even when playing on power, these tend to pull some power from battery since the PSU (power supply unit) can delivery only 130 watts or 180 watts (depending on the region you purchased your laptop), and this laptop pulls more than 180 watts when under peak loads.

    @PredatorPreys13
    A few things you can do - I too have a G3-572, and my temp peaks came down from the levels you posted to 60-70 ranges (occasional momentary surge to 80):
    1. ThrottleStop set to -0.125 for cpu and cpu cache
    2. Increased my laptop height to about an inch using felt pads under feet
    3. Use an external usb fan and direct it above the Fn keys where it tends to get hot.
    4. Turn on vsync (limiting frames to max of what my screen/monitor support - 60 fps) and disable those visual features that hit hard on processor but barely make any difference visually.
