Helios 300 G3-571 Battery threshold gone

I've been using this laptop for about 4 months and never had a problem until like a week ago. The 95% plugged in, not charging threshold is gone, and now my laptop charges up to 100% and then automatically stops receiving power untilit drops to 98% and so on and so forth. The problem is that this breaks up the high performance power mode, and if this happens while in game, or rendering or doing anything "intensive" with the laptop (appart from brighness changes screwing up my eyes, yeah) it can be REALLY annoying, frames dropping, redering takes forever, etc. 
Is there any way to fix this?

Make sure that by putting the notebook into high performance, the problem is solved! Then go to the video card settings; find the setting you can auto, only the onboard video card or only the nvidia video card and choose only the nvidia video card for the programs you want!

For G3-571, G3-572 and VX5-591 models, when your computer requires more power than the AC adapter can provide, it will stop charging to allow it to draw additional power from the battery. The system will resume charging the battery when the power demands are lower. This may occur during heavy gaming sessions. If the battery discharges below 30% while using the AC adapter, the system will stop using power from the battery until the charge is above 40% again.

You're correct dear friend @Sharanji! However, what he is saying is that the fps decreases just as the computer starts to use the extra battery power to provide more performance!
