On May 18, I bought Acer Aspire 5 15.6" Laptop - Black (Intel Core i5-8250U/256GB SSD/8GB RAM/Windows 10) - Open Box from best buy. Since last week,  I am having problems with the display it got yellow vertical lines horizontally.     Did you drop the laptop or did something fell on it.. do you see any physical damage on the laptop. Would recommend you to contact Acer in-warranty support in your region.

    I did not drop the laptop but those lines only appear on some colors mostly on blue I have added another picture to my dropbox please check. Sorry I forgot to mention that before.

    Sorry, i'm unable to access the drop box.Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the display drivers, if not please follow the steps below to do it.

    a) open run window by pressing windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc


    b) check whether there is yellow exclamation mark or red x on the display driver

    c) Right click and got to properties >driver tab> uninstall it.. restart the pc. it will reinstall.
    d) try to update the drivers and still if the issue persists - it can be hard ware issue. you need to contact Acer in-warranty support of your region.
