why should customer should pay for acer poor quality?

i bought a desktop last year and the desktop broke within 3 months and turned out the motherboard was broken due to no fault of mine. i contacted the customer support and  was told to send the desktop to Texas repairing center and silly me, paid for over 100 bucks for the shipping and later my checked the acer forum and found out that acer should be responsible for the shipping fee. but i did not do anything just let it go. But this time my acer monitor broke as well the screen turned red after just 9 months. Btw,  i bought a laptop several months ago, so i dont use the desktop as often as i used to be. Few days ago this incident happened and now acer is asking me to pay for the shipping fee again.  2 out of 2 products i bought from acer all broke within its warranty and now the customer are told to pay for its poor quality. 
Is this how acer treat its customer and how acer take its own responsibility. if so i will never buy any of acer in the future and will tell all of friends to stay away from acer!
