The GTX 1060 on my Helios 300 is not working at all. It's being shown in the device manager but, no software is detecting it. Not even the Novabench benchmark app. I contacted the support and they asked me to update the BIOS. Could anyone tell me the steps to do so? My laptop was bought in USA and now I'm in India. So, its not possible to get the support from Acer itself.

Hi ayandev98, Firstly i need to ask whether you can access graphic properties in your predator computer. Regarding Bios update you can check the current version of BIOS by tapping the F2 once you turn on the computer and to check the latest version of Bios, you can access Acer.com and select USA and click on drivers and manuals. Enter your Snid or Serial number to get in to drivers list. Make note that sometimes updating the drivers can also cause issue to the computer.

Yes, Can you tell me if it's possible that this might be the right fix for the GPU? Because the hardware is fine. I've had it checked. Also, I have already cleaned the system

Well it's certainly worth a shot!

Enter your model's information on that website and install the latest BIOs release and install.
Be sure to close all other programs and have at least 75% battery life and your laptop plugged in while updating.

Do NOT for any reason stop or shut down your laptop while the update is in process.
It takes about 4 minutes to complete.
