After installing cpuid's system monitoring app my Helios 300 suddenly lost sound. I checked device driver and some intel(r) smart sound (inside system devices) was having yellow triangle, I figured that was due to that system monitoring app so I quickly uninstalled but lately I came to know that predator sense can't show GPU info even if I play games(GeForce experience do popup while playing games and shows fps on bottom right, so it is running Nvidia's GPU). I tried reinstalling predator sense, restarting laptop few times but nothing helped

Try installing the "Turbo Boost" driver from Acer's driver download page.
Try disabling "fast startup" option of windows also corrected this bug.
Also update the BIOS and check.

And... put laptop to sleep, and wake it up. Or hibernate and wake up. PS sometimes gets moody on cold start up.

And what did you after that? A simple restart and then it started showing GPU in predator sense? I have the same problem rn.
