I have just unpacked a brand new acer laptop that I bought from PCworld -

I also understand that it comes with a load of Bloatware and other programs that will significantly slow your computer speed, which are not essential to begin with. However, I am just shocked at the slow speed that my freshly unpacked machine completes even the simplest of tasks (creating a word documents for 20+ seconds, web browsing is jittery and freezes up etc.)
I have previously owned an Acer laptop, which recently died after 4+ years of service, and I have had similar issues with it (slightly slow due to a load of unnecessary applications/programs). But it did allow me to do everything I wanted to, including playing video games and streaming with relative ease, nothing to this absurd extent! I did end up taking it to a computer shop and asked them to wipe my windows and install a fresh one, which made a massive difference. Now I feel like I am in a position where I bought a new laptop and am being forced to go straight to a computer salon to do it again. This is quite frustrating and just unacceptable from any manufacturing company.
Before doing that I wanted to make sure that I am indeed not missing something obvious here and that this is still a common issue that people are experiencing nowadays after purchasing a brand new Acer laptop.
P.S. I have updated everything I could and restarted the laptop numerous of times.
