got a new computer with Win10 64 with an Nvidia quadro P4000 card.   I have 3 working monitor plugged to it, all Acer:  G276HL, X223W and the one who give me problem K222HQL.
The monitor stay on when the computer go in sleep mode. It was working on previous computer also with a quadro card.

what I did without result:
plug monitors in different slot to see it is card related: no change
install acer driver: install error, probably due because they are win7 or win 8 driver signatures

any idea?

Just do a reset of the monitor or try power drain and check.
Power drain : Unplug all the wires that connects to the monitor(including the power cable) press and hold the power button on the monitor for 40 sec, than just connect only this monitor and check. Hope this resolve your issue :)

Not trying to confuse you, but the monitor refuse to turn off is probably backlight bleed. If you think she is not turning off, what comes off of the display my friend?
    BElieve in YOUrself.
