Chromebook CB515-1HT memory

According the PC World Website, the Chromebook 515-1HT has 4MB of memory that can be upgraded to 8MB. Is this true? I can't find any other information

    The motherboard supports being populated with either 4GB or 8GB of memory, but it's soldered in so not upgradable. They may or may not do a different SKU with the higher amount of memory.

    This model comes with only 4GB LPDDR4 type RAM. Since, this is a chromebook 4GB RAM would be more than enough for heavy uses aswell. Also, there is no info about upgrading the RAM.

    The above is the spec list for Chromebook CB515-1HT and claims upgradeable to 8GB. It doesn't surprise me that it is wrong as they also said there was no SD card slot. 
    In fact there is a microSD card slot on the RHS

    I'd guess PCWorld is working off the blurb included in the service manual, which states it ambiguously. ;)

    The supplier of the Chromebook should help you if it a problem with the computer components.
    Can you connect to an external monitor to discover if the problem is the screen or the computer itself?
